1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DoseHub ("we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the DoseHub mobile application (the "App").
By creating an account or using DoseHub, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms apply to all users, including:
- Individual users tracking their own medications
- Parents or guardians tracking medications for minors
- Caregivers managing medications for others
- Family members invited to shared households
2. Medical Disclaimer
DoseHub is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Important Limitations:
- DoseHub is a tracking tool only - it helps you record and remember medications
- It does NOT provide medical advice or recommendations
- It does NOT diagnose conditions or suggest treatments
- It does NOT replace consultations with healthcare providers
- It is NOT FDA-approved as a medical device
Your Responsibilities:
- Always consult qualified healthcare professionals about medications
- Follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions
- Verify medication information with healthcare providers
- Do not make medication changes based solely on app data
- In case of medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate medical attention
- Read medication labels and follow prescribed dosing instructions
Accuracy of Information: You are responsible for entering accurate medication information. We do not verify the accuracy of data you enter. Always double-check medication names, dosages, and schedules.
Reminders Are Not Guarantees: Notification reminders are provided as a convenience but may not always be delivered due to technical issues, device settings, or network conditions. Do not rely solely on app reminders for critical medications.
3. Eligibility
To use DoseHub, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
- Not be prohibited from using the App under applicable laws
- Reside in a jurisdiction where the App is available
Use for Minors: If you are a parent or legal guardian, you may create an account to track medications for minors under your care. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
Healthcare Professionals: If you are a healthcare professional using DoseHub, you are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable healthcare regulations (HIPAA, etc.).
4. Account Registration and Security
4.1 Account Creation
To use DoseHub, you must create an account by providing:
- A valid email address
- A secure password
- A display name
4.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of unauthorized access
- Logging out after each session on shared devices
We recommend:
- Using a strong, unique password
- Not sharing your account credentials
- Enabling two-factor authentication when available
4.3 Account Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You must update your information promptly if it changes.
5. Acceptable Use
You MAY use DoseHub to:
- Track medications for yourself and family members
- Set medication reminders
- Share household medication schedules with invited family members
- Record when doses are administered
- View medication history
You MAY NOT:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Share or sell controlled substances using the App
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Scrape, copy, or download data in bulk
- Reverse engineer or decompile the App
- Use automated tools (bots, scripts) without permission
- Interfere with other users' use of the App
- Remove or obscure copyright notices
- Use the App to spam or harass others
6. User Content and Data
6.1 Your Data
You retain ownership of all data you enter into DoseHub, including:
- Medication names, dosages, and schedules
- Names of people you track
- Medication records and timestamps
- Profile information
6.2 License to Us
By using DoseHub, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
- Store and process your data to provide the service
- Back up your data for recovery purposes
- Use anonymized, aggregated data for analytics and improvements
This license terminates when you delete your account, except for data retained in backups (up to 90 days).
6.3 Responsibility for Content
You are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy of information you enter
- Compliance with healthcare regulations if applicable
- Not entering protected health information beyond what's necessary
- Ensuring you have rights to share data with household members
6.4 Prohibited Content
Do not enter or share content that is:
- Illegal or promotes illegal activity
- Abusive, threatening, or harassing
- Infringing on intellectual property rights
- Misleading or fraudulent
7. Household Sharing
DoseHub allows you to invite family members or caregivers to shared households.
7.1 Invitations
- You can invite others via email
- Invitations expire after 7 days if not accepted
- You can revoke invitations or remove members at any time
7.2 Shared Access
Household members can:
- View all medication schedules in the household
- Add, edit, or delete medications
- Mark doses as given
- View medication history
- Add or edit people in the household
7.3 Your Responsibilities
- Only invite trusted individuals
- Ensure you have permission to share medication information
- Comply with applicable privacy laws (HIPAA if applicable)
- Remove members who should no longer have access
7.4 Privacy in Shared Households
When you invite someone to a household, they will have access to all data in that household. If you need privacy, create separate households.
8. Fees and Payments
Current Status: DoseHub is currently free to use with all features available at no cost.
8.1 Future Paid Features
We may introduce paid subscription plans or premium features in the future. If we do:
- We will provide advance notice
- Core medication tracking will remain free
- You may choose to subscribe or continue with the free version
- Pricing and features will be clearly disclosed
8.2 Payment Terms (If Applicable)
If you subscribe to a paid plan:
- Fees are charged in advance on a recurring basis
- You authorize us to charge your payment method
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled
- You can cancel anytime; cancellation is effective at the end of the billing period
- No refunds for partial periods
- We may change pricing with 30 days' notice
9. Intellectual Property Rights
DoseHub and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
9.1 Our Rights
We own all rights to:
- The DoseHub name and logo
- The App design, interface, and code
- Documentation and support materials
- Any improvements or modifications we make
9.2 Limited License to You
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- Download and install the App on your personal devices
- Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes
This license does not include rights to:
- Modify, copy, or create derivative works
- Reverse engineer or decompile the App
- Sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the App
- Use the App for commercial purposes
9.3 Trademarks
DoseHub® and the DoseHub logo are trademarks. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.
10. Privacy
Your use of DoseHub is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
By using DoseHub, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including:
- Warranties of merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy, reliability, or availability
- That the App will be uninterrupted or error-free
- That defects will be corrected
- That the App is free of viruses or harmful components
No Medical Warranty: We make no warranties regarding:
- The suitability of the App for medical use
- The accuracy of medication information you enter
- The reliability of medication reminders
- Any health outcomes from using the App
Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of implied warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
We are not liable for:
- Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Personal injury or property damage
- Medical complications or adverse health events
- Missed medication doses
- Errors in medication tracking or reminders
- Data loss or corruption
- Unauthorized access to your account
- Actions of other users or third parties
Maximum Liability: In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of liability, our total liability to you shall not exceed the greater of: (a) $100, or (b) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DoseHub, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use or misuse of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any laws or third-party rights
- Content you submit or share
- Your invitation or removal of household members
- Medical decisions made based on App data
14. Termination
14.1 Termination by You
You may delete your account at any time from the App settings. Upon deletion:
- Your access to the App will be immediately terminated
- Your data will be deleted within 30 days
- You will be removed from all shared households
- Any active subscriptions will be canceled
14.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- We suspect fraudulent or illegal activity
- You abuse or misuse the App
- Required by law
- We discontinue the App (with 30 days' notice)
14.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your license to use the App ends immediately
- You must stop using the App
- Sections that by their nature should survive will remain in effect (e.g., disclaimers, indemnification)
15. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
15.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at dosehub@broadmac.net to attempt informal resolution.
15.2 Binding Arbitration
If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except:
- Small claims court disputes
- Intellectual property disputes
- Disputes seeking injunctive relief
Arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules.
15.3 Class Action Waiver
You agree to bring claims only on an individual basis, not as part of a class action or representative action.
15.4 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
16. General Provisions
16.1 Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes:
- We will notify you via email or in-app notification
- Changes become effective 30 days after notification
- Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
- You may terminate your account if you disagree
16.2 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DoseHub.
16.3 Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
16.4 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.
16.5 Assignment
You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms to any successor entity.
16.6 Third-Party Beneficiaries
These Terms do not create third-party beneficiary rights.
16.7 Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, etc.).

- You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter
- You understand we provide no warranties
- You accept the limitations of liability
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use DoseHub.
