This Privacy Policy describes how DoseHub ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use our mobile application. By using DoseHub, you agree to the terms described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide:

• Account: Email, display name, password (encrypted)
• Medications: Names, dosages, schedules, instructions
• People: Names of family members you track
• Records: When doses were given and by whom
• Households: Shared household information
• Invitations: Emails of people you invite

Automatic Collection:

• Device type and operating system
• App usage patterns
• Error logs and crash reports
• Push notification tokens

We Do NOT Collect:

• Social Security Numbers
• Payment information
• Precise location data
• Biometric data
• Medical diagnoses or health conditions

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and maintain medication tracking services
• Send medication reminder notifications
• Sync data across your devices
• Enable household sharing with family
• Improve app functionality
• Provide customer support
• Detect and prevent fraud

4. How We Share Your Information

We share data only in these cases:

With Family Members You Invite:

When you invite someone to your household, they can see medication schedules, records, and names of people in that household. You control access and can remove members anytime.

With Service Providers:

• Supabase (secure database and authentication)
• Cloud hosting providers (encrypted storage)
• Push notification services

These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.

For Legal Reasons:

We may disclose information to comply with laws, court orders, or to protect rights and safety.

Business Transfers:

If DoseHub is acquired, your data may transfer to the new owner. We'll notify you first.

5. Data Security

Note: No internet transmission is 100% secure. Use a strong, unique password.

6. Data Retention

• Active accounts: Data retained while account is active
• Deleted accounts: Data deleted within 30 days
• Backups: May persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days
• Logs: Automatically deleted after 90 days

To delete your account: Go to Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

You can:

• Access: View all your data in the app
• Export: Request a copy via email (dosehub@broadmac.net)
• Correct: Edit information directly in the app
• Delete: Remove individual items or your entire account
• Control notifications: Manage reminder settings

For EU Users (GDPR):

You have additional rights including data portability, restriction of processing, and the right to object. Contact us to exercise these rights.

For California Users (CCPA):

You have the right to know what data we collect, request deletion, and opt-out of sales (we don't sell data).

8. Children's Privacy

DoseHub is designed for adults (18+) to manage medications for themselves and family members. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 without parental consent.

Parents create accounts and manage tracking for minors. If you believe we've collected data from a child under 13, contact us immediately.

9. International Data Transfers

DoseHub is based in the United States. Your data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the US. By using DoseHub, you consent to this transfer.

We take steps to ensure your data is protected in accordance with this policy regardless of location.

10. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase: Database and authentication - Privacy Policy
• Expo: Mobile app framework - Privacy Policy

We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices. Review their policies independently.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. When we do:

• We'll update the "Last updated" date
• For major changes, we'll notify you via email or in-app
• Continued use after changes means you accept the new policy
